Abstract

Digital economy and industrial structure upgrading are the keys to realizing low-carbon economic development. Based on the data of 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2020, this study constructs a PVAR model. It analyzes the dynamic relationship between the digital economy, industrial structure upgrading, and green logistics development through impulse response and variance decomposition. It conducts a comparative study of the eastern, central, and western regions. The study shows that from 2013 to 2020, China's green logistics will rise steadily, characterized by "high in the east and low in the central and western regions.". From a national point of view, industrial structure upgrading, digital economy, and green logistics have strong coordination, and they influence each other. From the perspective of the three regions, the digital economy and industrial structure upgrading in the eastern and central regions have achieved better-coordinated development, and both have a good role in promoting the development of green logistics. The upgrading of industrial structure and the digital economy in the Western region have failed to achieve better-coordinated development, and both have no obvious impact on the development of green logistics in the Western region. Therefore, it is proposed to accelerate the development of the digital economy, reasonably promote the upgrading of industrial structure, and promote the countermeasures for the green development of the logistics industry.
