The Factors, Impact, and Interventions of Cyberbullying in schools

Cyberbullying has become a global public health problem among adolescents. The impact of cyberbullying on its participants was also different. Cyberbullying greatly impacted the victim's physical and mental health, and cyberbullies were more prone to bad behavior. This paper summarized the causes of cyberbullying, including the causes of individuals, family environment, and online environment, effects and interventions from cyber bystanders, school education practitioners, and techniques. The results showed that some interventions were effective, such as encouraging bystanders to intervene during bullying, strengthening school educators’ interventions by teaching cyberbullying knowledge, and cooperating with other educational roles. These findings were significant in adding further in-depth understandings of Cyberbullying and further developing more effective interventions for it.
