Abstract

Under the dual-carbon background, China is accelerating the establishment of a sound green financial system under the green development concept and green development policy, incentivizing enterprises to accelerate their transformation and upgrading through green finance, and using ESG performance as an evaluation index for green development of enterprises, the study finds that enterprises can realize the enhancement of their enterprise value by means of green finance and improvement of their ESG ratings, so as to enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprises and achieve the high-quality sustainable and healthy development. Green finance cans significantly help enterprises improve their ESG performance and help them transform and upgrade to relieve financial pressure, thus better realizing high-quality development of enterprises. This paper will find out how green finance can help enterprises achieve high-quality sustainable development in the ESG evaluation system, and explore the realization path of green finance to promote high-quality development of enterprises, so as to help China achieve the goal of "double carbon" as soon as possible.
