The rapid development of industrial digitization provides new opportunities for the development of China's real industry and the upgrading of export technical complexity. Based on the balanced panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022, this paper calculates the level of industrial digitalization in each province, and uses the fixed-effect model to discuss the effect of industrial digitalization level on the improvement of export technology complexity. The empirical findings are as follows: (1) The level of industrial digitization in China's provinces is increasing year by year and is related to the level of economic development; (2) China's industrial digitization level is unbalanced in the landing zone; (3) Industrial digitalization can promote the improvement of export technical complexity.
