In the context of the new vocational education law and the significant transformation of digitalization and informatization in the construction industry, this article conducts a survey and research on workers in the construction and installation industry and their career development plans. It analyzes the current situation and problems of skill improvement training for workers in the construction and installation industry, and studies how vocational education can empower the training content and forms of workers in the construction and installation industry under the industry transformation. It provides certain basis and new solutions for solving similar problems.
