Abstract

In order to analyze the factors affecting the international competitiveness of Shanghai's trade in services, this paper uses VAR model to explore the factors affecting the international competitiveness of Shanghai's trade in services, and finds that the development of trade in goods and investment in scientific research have a greater positive impact on the international competitiveness of Shanghai's trade in services. Finally, the paper puts forward some suggestions for Shanghai to improve the international competitiveness of trade in services, such as increasing investment in scientific research to promote scientific and technological innovation, maintaining investment in infrastructure and continuing to promote economic growth.
