Abstract

This study selects the balanced panel data of 30 provincial administrative regions in China from 2010 to 2022, systematically analyzes the impact of government administrative efficiency on the digital business environment, and further explores the moderating role of government digital attention. The findings show that: the improvement of government administrative efficiency significantly optimizes the digital business environment; government attention to digital has significantly enhanced the positive effect of government administrative efficiency on the optimization of the digital business environment; there are significant regional differences in the role of government administrative efficiency in optimizing the digital business environment, with the role in the central regions , western regions and underdeveloped regions being significantly higher than that in other regions. This study enriches the relevant theoretical research by revealing the role path of government administrative efficiency in the construction of the digital business environment, and provides practical references and policy implications for enhancing government governance capacity, promoting coordinated regional development, and facilitating high-quality economic development.
