Human Factors in Automotive HMI Design
Driving is an information processing activity. In the process of driving, the driver constantly obtains and processes information from various sensory channels to make decisions and take appropriate actions to control vehicle movement. This paper will discuss four parts: sensory, cognition, decision making and automation.
