Abstract

: This article summarizes the status of narrative stylistics research since 1960. The first part of the article reviews its historical development in two stages, describing the formation of narratology and stylistics and the possibility for their combination. The second part of the article discusses the current research status of narrative stylistics, which mainly focuses on the practical level of literary translation and non-literary translation, but there is no lack of research combined with other new fields, and on this basis, it points out the current shortcomings of narrative stylistics, and the prospect of its development based on the above aspects.
