Abstract

This study aimed to explore the impact of improving medical students' leadership and decision-making abilities on medical incident handling efficiency and academic performance. Through statistical analysis and survey design, 370 medical students were studied. The results showed that most students majored in clinical medicine, with a higher proportion of girls. The study found the scores of medical students in leadership and decision-making, and put forward some teaching improvement suggestions, including strengthening student-centered teaching methods, cultivating soft skills, paying attention to gender differences, establishing feedback mechanisms, etc. These findings provide useful implications for medical education and help cultivate medical professionals with comprehensive capabilities.
