Abstract

On September 8th, 2020, General Secretary delivered a speech at the National Commendation Conference on Fighting COVID-19 Epidemic: In this life-and-death contest with a serious epidemic, the people of China and the Chinese nation, with their dauntless spirit of daring to fight and win, forged the great anti-epidemic spirit of putting life first, uniting the whole country, giving up one's life and forgetting one's death, respecting science and sharing a common destiny. Although the epidemic ended in 2023, the three-year epidemic is an unforgettable common memory for everyone in China, and the anti-epidemic spirit will gradually precipitate into the blood of everyone in China. As a public compulsory course for college students, ideological and political theory course should be good at integrating the anti-epidemic spirit into daily teaching, so that the anti-epidemic spirit can constantly cultivate each student's patriotic feelings and values.
