Occupational Stress and Job Satisfaction of Wushu Teachers in Selected University in Shandong Province

With the continuous development of the country and the deepening of education reform, the society has higher and higher requirements for university students, and the teaching industry has received more and more attention from the society, which not only promotes the development of the teaching industry, but also brings negative impacts to the teaching industry. Therefore, the attention on the occupational stress and job satisfaction of this group of teachers has become imminent. Wushu major as a component of physical education major, the social demand for wushu teachers is also increasing year by year, therefore, the society, schools and individuals give university wushu teachers more and more occupational stress, teachers' job satisfaction is also uneven. In this study, based on a large number of literatures, 126 wushu teachers from 5 universities in Shandong Province were investigated on their occupational stress and job satisfaction by questionnaire method. Occupational stress is studied from five aspects. Education and Teaching, Scientific Research, Personal Development, Organization and Management, and Human Relations. Job satisfaction is studied from five aspects, which are: Working Environment, Interpersonal Environment, Occupational Environment, Occupational Affection, and Occupational Values. SPSS software is used to analyze the data, and it is concluded that wushu teachers in Shandong University have greater occupational stress in "scientific research", and the job satisfaction in the field of "interpersonal relationship environment" is the highest. Meanwhile, combined with the data analysis, it is concluded that occupational stress and job satisfaction are positively correlated. In other words, as occupational stress increases, job satisfaction also tends to increase to some extent, or vice versa. Finally, through the analysis and integration of the five aspects that affect the occupational stress and job satisfaction of university wushu teachers, the solution measures are proposed from the level of individuals, schools and management departments.
