Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between functional training and sprinting performance. The students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities are taken as the research object, An 8-week training experiment was carried out to compare the changes in FMS test and sprinting performance of the subjects before and after the experimental intervention. The results show that after the functional training intervention, all the test indicators of the subjects have been improved in different amplitude, which reflects the role of functional training in special sprinting training, proves the effectiveness of functional training in specific people, and provides a theoretical basis and realistic path for grassroots sprinting training.
