With the gradual development of "Internet plus" and artificial intelligence technology, educational and teaching means are becoming more and more abundant. The author conducts in-depth analysis by analyzing the current situation of music education in middle schools and the development of internet education technology, and proposes optimization suggestions. Through the research, the "Internet plus" technology has a positive role in promoting the innovation of teaching methods in music education in middle schools, improving students' interest in learning, and enriching teaching content.
