Abstract

College English teaching has undergone dramatic innovations because of the rapid development of digital technologies. In order to boost the teaching efficiency and optimize the teaching procedure, Production-Oriented Approach (POA) is employed as the theoretical foundation. The passage “The Surprising Purpose of Travel” is selected as the target text to conduct the case study to showcase the specific teaching design based on POA with digital technologies.
