Abstract

This paper studied the establishment of a quality evaluation system for medical insurance management in a public hospital in Hebei, China, as an example. The paper used the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) as well as the balanced scorecard approach, and the model developed suggests that the hospital should pay more attention to the patient perspective when evaluating the quality of medical insurance management.
