Modern Tang Poetry Education: Primary and Secondary School Students

Poetry is one of the key contents for modern primary and secondary school students to learn at their schools, among them, Tang poetry was created by the Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty. Educators pay great attention to the education of poetry to primary and secondary school students, but due to different times and languages, it makes difficulties in the concerning process of learning Tang poetry. For this kind of issue, this article analyzes the educational value and educational significance of teaching Tang poetry to primary and secondary school students in education. This paper analyzes Tang poetry's unique literary educational value, and it provides assistance to students in language learning and influences people's cultural and moral values of education. Based on these analyses, this text makes suggestions that adjustments can be made to the learning motivation, content, and method for modern primary and secondary school students of Tang poetry education.
