Abstract

Characteristic towns have a unique geographic space, cultural space and industrial space, and is an important platform for promoting the integrated development of urban and rural areas, as well as an important opportunity for industrial restructuring and upgrading, and our country now has a solid foundation for building characteristic towns. The article succinctly elucidates the concept, characteristics, and formation paths of characteristic towns, and analyzes the development mode of characteristic towns in Shaanxi Province, and puts forward suggestions for promoting the development mode of characteristic towns in Shaanxi Province.
