Research on the Impact of Public Service Motivation of Grassroots Civil Servants on Job Performance

In grass - roots governance, grassroots civil servants, as front - line workers, bear heavy workloads. How to maintain their work enthusiasm has become an important issue that urgently needs to be addressed. Based on this, this study conducts a questionnaire survey among grassroots civil servants in a certain city in China, aiming to deeply explore the internal relationships among the public service motivation, job satisfaction, and job performance of grassroots civil servants. The research finally concludes that public service motivation has a significant positive impact on job performance, and job satisfaction plays a mediating role between public service motivation and job performance.
