Research on the Operation Model, Effectiveness, and Optimization Strategies of Love Summer Care Classes from the Perspectives of Dual Employee Families and Volunteers

Abstract

This study mainly focuses on the Love Summer Nursery Class in Hongkou District, Shanghai. Through field research, multivariate statistical analysis techniques such as KMO test and decision tree model, the needs of parents and volunteer motivation were analyzed, and the core concerns and attitude needs of parents towards "safety", "curriculum", and "fees" were explored. The operation mode and effectiveness of the class were further explored. This study focuses on the actual service effectiveness and social value of summer care classes. Firstly, it analyzes their functions and room for improvement from three aspects: alleviating family care problems, the role of volunteers, and practical effects. The results show that the Love Summer Care Class has significant effects in alleviating the pressure of dual employee family care, but there are shortcomings in service quality, policy promotion, and other aspects. Secondly, this study summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the Love Summer Care Class from the aspects of promotion, service optimization, and volunteer management. Finally, this study proposes suggestions for improving the optimization of summer daycare service models, providing practical guidance for the future development of daycare services.
