Abstract

This study reviews the current research status of social capital and rural digital governance in the academic community, sorts out the historical context of social capital in rural governance, and analyzes its characteristics and political significance in different historical stages. Based on scholars' different definitions of social capital, this article explores the theoretical, practical, and practical logic of social capital's participation in rural governance from three dimensions: trust, network, and norms. Through literature review and theoretical analysis, this article summarizes the key factors and pathways of social capital in rural governance, providing theoretical support for deepening the strategy of rural revitalization. Research has pointed out that social capital is of great significance in promoting the modernization of rural governance systems and governance capabilities, and provides valuable reference and practical basis for achieving the goal of rural revitalization.
