Abstract

In this era of aging and digitalization deeply intertwined, enhancing digital literacy of the elderly is of great significance to their integration into modern society and improvement of their quality of life. However, older adults face many challenges in accepting digital literacy education, such as physiological decline, insufficient knowledge reserve, declining learning ability, psychological resistance, and insufficient social support. The problem of how to help the elderly population effectively cross the digital divide is quite serious, and in order to effectively deal with these challenges, it is necessary to formulate strategies at multiple levels, such as policies and regulations, education systems, social support and technological innovation, to promote the development of digital literacy education for the elderly, help them cross the digital divide, and share the convenience and dividends of the digital era.
