Abstract

This paper is based on the current status of ecological environment and high-quality economic development in Lianyungang. It employs the entropy weight method to calculate the weights of relevant indicators from 2017 to 2024 and uses the system coordination degree model to measure the coupling level between the two. The research results show that the ecological environment quality in Lianyungang has continued to improve, the level of economic development has steadily increased, and the coordination between ecological environment and economic development has gradually strengthened year by year. The coupling degree has shown an overall upward trend, with the coordination relationship between the two systems evolving from mild imbalance (economic development being hindered) to a state of barely coordinated balance.
