Abstract

The theories and practices of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era have set higher and more extensive requirements for the fundamental qualities of leading cadres. They are called upon to cultivate sound ideological conduct and noble virtues in terms of moral cultivation, capability building and psychological quality. In practice, they should grasp the essence of facts, integrate theory with practice, be willing to assume heavy responsibilities and take the lead. Ideologically, they must keep in mind their original aspiration and mission, remain indifferent to fame and fortune, and write magnificent chapters of life with outstanding achievements.
