Application of Wireless Sensors and Their Networks in Monitoring Landslides

Since the 21st century, wireless sensor network technology has been rapidly developed, and this technology has been widely concerned not only in military, medical, education and other aspects, but also in disaster prevention and control has been well applied. This paper firstly analyzes the necessity of landslide monitoring, discusses and compares the more commonly used technical means of landslide monitoring, then analyzes and compares the systems based on wireless sensor network technology in monitoring landslides in China and abroad, and finally puts forward the application defects of wireless sensor network technology.
