Abstract

The trend of contemporary art is born in the trend of postmodernism, and contemporary art is the result of the common development of many artistic trends. This paper first discusses the influence of contemporary art thought on modern design by briefly describing the relationship between contemporary art thought and modernist art and postmodernism. It is mainly analyzed from four perspectives: creative theme, ideological concept, design interest, and diversification. The relationship between contemporary art thought and modern design is inseparable. Contemporary art trends influence modern design from all aspects, and have far-reaching influence and significance for modern design.
