Analysis on the application of folk-art elements in the space design of human settlements

Abstract

With the rapid development of China's social economy, there are waves of Chinese culture and art in all parts of the world. Folk art, as a form of expression of traditional art, often carries the cultural characteristics of a nation, which is carried out in various fields such as clothing, sculpture and decoration design. Nowadays, in interior design, many people gradually began to apply our traditional folk elements to the living space, folk art elements have also been widely adopted. Therefore, this paper discusses the characteristics and values of Chinese folk-art elements and its application analysis of interior design, so as to promote the nationalization of interior design and carry forward the design concept of traditional folk-art features.
