Abstract

This paper explores the aesthetic design of emojis in the emotional expression of contemporary young people, and how they have become a unique visual symbol, particularly in the context of the widespread use of social media and instant messaging tools. The article begins by tracing the origin of emojis, reviewing the evolution from emoticons to emoji symbols, and analyzing aspects such as design principles, color usage, semiotics, and cultural influences. Emojis not only serve as tools for emotional expression but also showcase their unique charm in terms of visual design and cultural identity.
