Abstract

The article revolves around Chaoyang Ditao Music, which is conducted through a dual approach of literature review and field research. It begins with a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the literature of Chaoyang Ditao Music, and then combines the content of the author’s field research, analyzing the musical characteristics of Ditao ancient music through a case study of “Lantern Tower”, through the method of seeing big things through small ones. Finally, combined with the above content, the author reflects on the historical origins of Ditao music. It is concluded that there are some achievements in the current research on Chaoyang Ditao Music, but there is still room for further study. Its inheritance status is relatively dynamic, and the talent training mode deserves further study and exploration.
