This paper analyzes the construction cost situation, BIM technology development, cost measurement methods, cost pricing system, cost control practice and cost management experience of our country and the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan. Finally, the outlook for the future development of engineering cost industry in our country is concluded. and the relevant suggestion is given, which provides a useful reference for the development of engineering cost industry in our country.
