As a rapidly emerging industry in recent years, the market size of China ADAS industry has reached 87.8 billion yuan in 2020, up 108.5% from 42.11 billion yuan in 2019, and will become a rapid growth point for the future automotive industry. This paper innovatively adopts the rooting theory combined with Porter diamond model, completing the open coding, categorization, recoding and aggregation for ADAS industry, constructing the ADAS industry competitiveness measurement model. After the information and data of the current situation of China's ADAS industry are used as input to complete the industry competitiveness measurement, the results show that the competitiveness is unbalanced in factors Innovation and Production, significantly leading in factors Demand and Related Industry, and not significantly performing in factor Support & Opportunity. Overall, China ADAS industry competitiveness is unbalanced, but can occupy a more advantageous position in the competition globally, with some significant lagging segments, such as Technology Development and Human Resource, that need to be adjusted.
