Abstract

With the acceleration of social change, the proportion of single-parent families is also increasing, and through research and analysis, it is found that family structure has a significant impact on college students' academic stress. This study focuses on the relationship between family structure, college students' academic frustration and coping styles. 400 college students were surveyed using the College Students' Academic Frustration Questionnaire, the Family Structure Questionnaire and the College Students' Coping Styles Questionnaire, and the data was analysed using SPSS software. The results show that family structure significantly affects academic frustration, in which coping styles play a partial mediating role. This study enriches the relevant theories and provides a basis for improving the psychological health and academic performance of college students.
