Abstract

In the digital economy, consumers increasingly expect hyper-personalized experiences, while widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI)—including big-data analytics, recommender systems, and generative models—has made such personalization technically feasible. This study examines how AI reshapes personalized marketing across three strategic layers: product/service design, dynamic pricing, and omnichannel channel matching. This paper brings together recent data-based and theory-based studies and adds case examples from both tightly regulated and more open markets. The goal is to explain how AI makes marketing more relevant, increases engagement, and lifts conversions. This paper shows that prediction models and natural-language tools help brands spot needs early and deliver “memory-style” service that remembers past interactions. Algorithmic pricing adjusts offers to each person’s price sensitivity, situation, and timing. Journey analytics pick and tune the best touchpoints across channels. At the same time, this paper notes key limits: privacy and trust worries, bias and “filter bubbles” in algorithms, and adoption hurdles for small and mid-size firms (costs, skills, and tools). This paper discusses ways to reduce these risks, such as explainable AI, keeping humans in the loop, and privacy-safe learning. This paper adds two things: a clear framework that links AI tools and data to marketing results, and a practical checklist to use personalization responsibly balancing performance with legal rules and consumer well-being. These findings give marketers concrete steps to grow personalization ethically while protecting brand trust.
