The existence of evil forces in rural areas undermines local social stability and economic order, brings tremendous harm to people’s life and personal safety, and also threatens the achievement of the whole goal of a peaceful China. Since the launch of the special struggle against evil forces, China has achieved remarkable results in combating evil forces in rural areas, but improvements are still required. This paper attempts to summarize the dilemmas in the fight against evil forces in rural areas and put forward targeted suggestions for the establishment of a long-term prevention and control mechanism for evil forces in rural areas, so as to provide theoretical references for the realization of the normalization of the fight against evil forces.
