This paper explores the design of leisure chairs based on morphological biomimicry, aiming to create aesthetically pleasing and functional seating by replicating the forms, structures, and functionalities of natural organisms. The study analyzes the concept of morphological biomimicry and its four application approaches (abstract biomimicry, concrete biomimicry, holistic biomimicry, and partial biomimicry), demonstrating their practical implementation through case studies. Finally, the paper outlines future development directions for morphological biomimicry in leisure chair design.
