Abstract

With the transformation of family structures, the situation where elderly people take care of children of the opposite generation is becoming more and more common. This has raised new requirements for the existing living environment. This article, from the perspective of dual suitability for the elderly and the young, explores ways to alleviate the predicament of three generations living in a limited living space, thereby promoting intergenerational communication and eliminating generational estrangement.
