With the development of economy, the structure of China's dietary consumption has undergone significant improvement, and the adolescents’ nutritional health has become a key focus of attention. However, the past approaches that could addressed iron deficiency anemia in adolescents have been limited to supplementary method, for example, adding iron supplements to their diet is one of them. Therefore, this paper systematically analyzes the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia among adolescents. What is more, it also analyzes the relationship between iron deficiency anemia and daily dietary habits. In this paper, epidemiological studies, nutritional literature, and public health policy data are used in this paper. Exploring feasible pathways for preventing and improving iron deficiency anemia through dietary structure optimization is the focus of this study. The aim of this study is to improve the issue of iron deficiency anemia among adolescents by adjusting daily dietary habits. It elucidates the impact of poor eating patterns on iron deficiency anemia in adolescents. In terms of solution approaches, this study offers new perspectives and methods for addressing iron deficiency anemia in adolescents. It not only considers the adolescents' own perspectives, but also uses family and societal viewpoints, providing fresh insights into tackling this issue.
