Due to frequent exercise during the offseason, some damage has developed in the structure and function of the feet, and the risk of overuse injuries in sports has increased. Systematically explore the functional adaptation characteristics, biomechanical mechanisms, and dialectical relationship with injury risk in the three areas of the midfoot, lateral foot and heel from the perspective of sports biomechanics in this study. The three levels of the damage prevention framework in this paper are training interventions, equipment interventions and monitoring and evaluation. This paper provides a theoretical basis for the regional-specific patterns and bidirectional effects of functional adaptation, offering evidence-based support for training load planning, shoe design and scientific management of injury risk in practice.
