Abstract

The integration of scientific research and teaching is fundamental to the advancement of higher education. However, young college teachers, often in the early stages of their careers, face distinct challenges when attempting to balance these dual roles. This paper explores the challenges faced by young college teachers in integrating scientific research and teaching, analyzing factors such as limited resources, institutional pressures, professional development, time management, and the expectations of students. The paper also examines the strategies young teachers use to overcome these challenges, as well as potential institutional supports that can enhance their ability to integrate research with teaching effectively.
