Abstract

This paper explores the critical issue of balancing economic growth with environmental protection within the broader context of climate change. Climate change has become a pressing global challenge, primarily driven by human activities, particularly since the onset of the Industrial Revolution. The rise in global temperatures has led to a cascade of environmental impacts, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and widespread ecosystem disruption. These ecological crises pose significant threats to human lives, water resources, and food security, exacerbating the tension between economic development and human survival. However, economic growth and environmental sustainability do not necessarily have to be in conflict. By adopting well-planned sustainable development strategies, it is possible to achieve both. This paper will analyze specific case studies that highlight these challenges and provide policy recommendations aimed at fostering a harmonious balance between economic development and ecological protection. The goal is to offer practical solutions for achieving sustainable progress in the face of the ongoing climate crisis.
