Forest managers must find a balance between harvesting trees and not harvesting trees, taking into account ecological and economic factors and so on. We will develop a model to predict the carbon sequestration capacity of the forest and its products and establish a decision model to determine a management plan that maximizes the carbon sequestration capacity of the forest. Select a forest and apply the model to predict the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by the forest and determine the best forest management plan. Use the model to solve the problem of the transition period in different rotation periods.
