Intelligent Fire Resistance Testing and Calculation of Precast Modular House by Computer Numerical Simulation

Through the fire resistance tests of fourteen components and one full-scale flat-packed modular house, the fire resistance limits of both steel components under standard fire curve and modular house entirety under real fire were studied. Test results showed that the fire safety could be guaranteed for applying light steel modular houses in low-rise buildings. In addition to structural fire protection design, fire performance simulation should also be combined with the measures of smoke alarm, spray, smoke diffusion simulation, evacuation simulation, fuel control and rescue response to ensure the fire safety. The research results of this paper can provide references for fire protection design of light steel modular houses.
