Abstract

This paper aims to find out the best traffic mode connecting the regional metro station and provide several suggestions to promote it. Dishui Lake subway station was selected for the case study. In order to find the best transfer mode to promote, an evaluation system was established according to the principle of accessible, affordable, convenient, effective, environment-friendly, safe, and speedy. TOPSIS is used to rank the four connection modes of Dishui Lake subway station, and it was found that the transfer modes that were most consistent with the stated principle in the area were walking and bus. In the promotion of these two modes, the influencing factors to passengers’ mode choice are analyzed and classified into 3 aspects, psychological, operational, and policy. Eventually, some targeted suggestions are put forward according to the influencing factors under each category.
