This article aims to scan and interpret the female images in ethnic minority-themed films from a modern perspective. As a form of cultural expression, ethnic minority films carry the inheritance and display of ethnic minority culture. However, in the context of modern society, female images in ethnic minority films face some difficulties, such as stereotypes and solidified gender roles. In order to promote the development of female images in ethnic minority films, this article will explore these dilemmas and propose corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
