Research on Financial Performance Evaluation of Kweichow Moutai Based on EVA

Abstract

Kweichow Moutai is a leading enterprise in the liquor industry. Introducing EVA into Kweichow Moutai has reference significance for the company and other companies in the liquor industry. In this paper, Kweichow Moutai is selected as the case company. First, based on the brief introduction of Kweichow Moutai, the data from 2019 to 2023 are selected for analysis according to the traditional analysis method of financial indicators. Secondly, according to the enterprise characteristics of Kweichow Moutai, an EVa-based financial performance evaluation system is established through necessary accounting adjustments, and then the EVA value of Kweichow Moutai is compared with the traditional financial performance evaluation indicators to obtain comprehensive evaluation results. Finally, according to the evaluation results, the paper puts forward some development suggestions such as optimizing the capital structure of the enterprise, improving the financial risk prevention system, and incorporating EVA into the enterprise performance evaluation system.
