Abstract

Based on true events, director Peter Farrelly's "Green Book" takes the deep-rooted racial discrimination in 1960s American society as the stage, using the various encounters of the two protagonists on their journey to skillfully construct an extraordinary journey of friendship across races and classes. This article observes the film from the Angle of artistic appreciation, deeply discusses the artistic and profound humanistic connotation of the film, and feels the theme of equality, respect and love through the medium of film aesthetics.
