The development of economics and management laboratories presents a significant challenge for local application-oriented undergraduate institutions. This study explores the difficulties encountered by these institutions in the construction of such laboratories and potential resolution strategies. The paper emphasizes the crucial role of economics and management laboratories in enhancing talent cultivation quality, fostering application-oriented talent and promoting institutional transformation. Through an analysis of the primary issues facing current laboratory construction, this paper proposes a series of innovative development ideas.
