Under the national initiative to vigorously promote technological innovation and progress in order to achieve "high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement," technology innovation-oriented enterprises need to build an endogenous economic engine suitable for their own growth. In the management of such enterprises, research and development (R&D) and innovation are critical factors driving their growth. This paper takes the R&D management of Huawei and Hanwei as typical cases, conducts a comparative analysis of the R&D investment models and innovation-driven mechanisms of technology innovation-oriented enterprises, and provides insights for the development of such enterprises at different growth stages.
