Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era. The Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core attaches great importance to labor education, and established the new era education policy of "morality, intellectual, physical and artistic", which also means the new connotation and mission of labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era.The new era and the new situation determine that the labor education reform and innovation of artistic education in art is imperative. The labor education work of students in art higher vocational colleges should be guided by the situation. On the basis of grasping the importance of labor education, we will deeply analyze the existing difficulties and explore the specific implementation paths of labor education. We will continuously improve the pertinence and effectiveness of labor education from four aspects: striving to build a workforce of labor education teachers, guiding students to establish scientific labor concepts, innovating labor education curriculum, and deepening the integration of industry and education.
