Abstract

Due to its unique geographical environment, history, politics, cultural background and other reasons, Hong Kong language and characters are unique. The language situation in Hong Kong is complex, but the HKSAR Government has always been based on the reality, planning for the future, and adopting diversified strategies on the basis of adhering to the statutory language to coordinate the language life in Hong Kong. The HKSAR Government has adopted a series of measures in the area of lingua franca education, with the aim of enhancing people's awareness and interest in different languages, promoting multicultural exchanges and understanding, and promoting Hong Kong's pluralistic and international development.
